Sunday Worship, 8:30am
A time of traditional worship filled with hymns including a traditional liturgy, a call to worship and responsive prayers.
You will hear God’s words in scripture and a message. Children’s programming is not offered at this service.
A time of blended worship filled with hymns and contemporary Christian music.
If you’re little one needs some room to move around, you are welcome to bring them in to play and still be able to watch and listen to the service.
Bags for Kids
Take a free children’s bag as you enter the sanctuary.
You’ll find them in brightly colored bags right by the children’s center entrance ready with fun things to keep the children busy.
Children’s Church (Preschool – Grade 5)
Children are always welcome to stay in the sanctuary for the service with their parents but we do offer Children’s Church!
Teachers will be waiting for the kids at the back of the sanctuary when Pastor Brad dismisses them about 10 minutes after service begins.
Tuesday Morning Worship, 8:30am
This is a quiet and reflective service where you feel as though you truly meet God in our Sanctuary space. Quiet, beautiful music plays, and we enter and sit in the front seats together. The Communion Table is set. We have a Traditional Order of Worship written out which we follow. The Leader role changes every week. Pastor Karla attends, but someone volunteers to lead the Service and Devotion Time. Those who attend agree this service sets the tone for the week of drawing deeper and closer to God. Pastor Karla leads the time of Communion. The worship service is about 30 minutes. Everyone is welcome.
Louisburg United Methodist Church leads worship the 2nd Sunday of every month at the two Louisburg care homes. Worship at Vintage Park begins at 1:30pm and at Louisburg Care Center at 2:15pm. Any and all are welcome to volunteer at one or both services. Families and children of any age are welcome.
Anyone is welcome to write and lead the brief devotion time. If you have questions or concerns about interacting with frail older adults, talk with Pastor Karla.
Communion is served at both services.
