Greetings Louisburg UMC,

 

I hope that you are having a great week! 

 

Thank you to everyone who participated in our deliberative dialogue's. "The Church's Role in a Divided Society," was a topic that provided great conversation. Should the church be a refuge, mediator, or prophetic voice? Please join us Sunday as we highlight some of the most important points from our times together. This will be the final week of our sermon series called, "Who are We? We started with who is the church (bigger church universal), last week we moved to who are we as individuals in Christ, and this week we focus on who are we as Louisburg United Methodist Church. 

 

Our new sermon series beginning in May is called "Celebrate!" We will be celebrating something every Sunday in May. The schedule includes:

May 2: Celebrating Confirmation. We have 8 people in Confirmation this year. We will celebrate their commitment to Christ!

May 9: Celebrating Mothers on Mother's Day

May 16: Celebrating Graduates
