October 22 News Update--LUMC

Greetings Louisburg UMC,

I hope that you are having a great week!

Jesus says in John 14:6, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me." This verse, and others like it have been used by Christians for years to determine who is going to heaven, and who is not. On Sunday, we will search the scriptures together as we seek the truth about "who's in and who's out." Join us live or by live stream at both 8:30 and 10:30. 

Also on Sunday, we will have another update on the Better Together capital campaign. We are nearing the end of the campaign, so please be sure to get your pledge cards in!  For those of you interested, you can donate directly to the Better Together Capital Campaign directly through our website, either from the "Give" tab https://www.louisburgumc.org/give or the "Better Together Capital Campaign" tab https://www.louisburgumc.org/pages/better-together-capital-campaign from your desktop or your mobile device.

Celebration Sunday is coming up next Sunday October 31. We will have a celebration breakfast between services and host a free dinner, live music,  & a trunk-or-treat on Halloween night from 4:30 to 6:00. We hope that you will join us as we celebrate being "Better Together!"

Next Wednesday is a school concert night so there will not be M&M Club or Youth Group.  We WILL HAVE the Wednesday Fellowship Meal at 5:30 and the Adult Class at 6pm.

It's Highschool Senior Night at the Football game tonight vs Paola!  Also, many youth from our church will be in the Central States Marching Band Festival at K-State tomorrow.  Let's all wish them good luck!
