I hope you have been enjoying the beautiful weather this week.

Thanks to all who've dropped off some food in the box for the Agape Food Pantry collection.  I'm including this information again this week:

In recent months, the Agape Food Pantry (which is housed in our church) has seen a significant increase in the number of individuals & families needing food.  The food pantry contacted the Louisburg churches asking them to consider collecting food for donation to the food pantry.  The LUMC Board agreed we should begin to collect food items for the food pantry like we used to do before COVID.  The collection will continue through October 9. All donations can be stacked at the Connection Point desk.

Items requested are: canned tuna, canned chicken, dry pasta (any kind), canned vegetables, and canned fruit.

The children of Louisburg are super excited for the annual Halloween On Broadway event which will be held from 4-6pm on Saturday, October 22.  Our Middle School Youth Group will be handing out M&M's to all the kiddos this year.  Donations of small/Halloween sized/snack sized M&M's would be greatly appreciated!
