I hope that you are having a great week! 

 

We are almost to Easter! Palm Sunday is a week from Sunday and so Holy week is the following week. I hope you will join us for the Maundy Thursday service where we remember Jesus and the last supper with his disciples. On Good Friday, our Confirmation class will lead us through a service of Tenebrae, also known as a service of shadow's, that recounts Jesus' final hours. On Easter Sunday we will have 3 services: 8:00 am, 9:30 am, and 11:00 am. Please be sure to register for one of the services below, as reservations are required. We will also have our annual Easter Egg hunt directly after the 9:30 am service (around 10:30). Easter is coming soon! I hope you will join us live or via the live stream!

 

This Saturday is our first church clean-up day. Join us at the church at 9:00 am. We will be working outside pulling weeds, turning over the mulch, trimming bush's etc. We also have indoor projects like spacing out chairs in the sanctuary, cleaning, organizing, etc... Please bring rakes, clippers, etc... for outdoor work especially. If you can't join us this Saturday, thats' ok because we will be working again next Saturday. We are hoping the church will look it's best for Easter. 

 

In worship this week, we are heading into the last 2 weeks of "The Ten Commandments Today." This Sunday we will be looking at the commandment, you will not bear false witness. So those little "white lies," is that what God is talking about? "Bear false witness?" What does that even mean. I hope you will join us at 8:30 am live or 10:30 live or on the live stream as we look at what God intended for us when God said, "you shall not bear false witness."
