The church collects some information that identifies you through forms on the website. This includes, but is not limited to, your name, email, postal address, gender, prayer requests, baptism needs, questions, and other information needed for different ministry areas. You offer this information voluntarily.
The website also automatically collects other information about your computer hardware and software. This information includes, but is not limited to your IP address, browser type, access times, and referring website addresses.
Finally, the website collects financial transaction information only when you provide it to purchase tickets or register for an event. When you do, this information is securely transmitted to Vanco Payment Solutions as they serve as our merchant processor. It is not retained by the church.
USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
The church will use the information we gather to offer you the ministries you request or we feel may help you. So, depending on what you requested, you may receive an email, phone call, or letter from ministry area leaders. We will also add you to our church database, after which you may receive the church E-News. You can be removed from this list at any time by contacting our office in writing.
The church does not sell, rent, or lease any information about you to persons or entities outside the church. We do share data with trusted partners within the United Methodist connectional system or those businesses we contract to help us with things like mailings. All third parties outside the connectional system are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to the church.
If you provide sensitive information such as prayer requests or special needs, we will provide that information to our pastors and caring ministry team. If you choose, we will also provide it to the congregation only if the prayer request is for you or for your family member. We will not publish prayer requests to the congregation without your permission or for persons outside your family.
The church will disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or through legal process.
